Happy 11 Months, Charlie!

These pictures were taken on Sunday, April 26, 2009...the date of Charlie's 11th month in God's great world. We are so thankful for our little man. He truly amazes us each and every day. What a blessing! From his smiles in the morning...to his cries for the 'duck' in the afternoons, Charlie is a delight!

Thank you to all of you who have encouraged us and helped us along this journey of parenthood. We definitely have some wise examples among our families and friends. Thank you to all of our dear friends and family who have kept little Charlie this last year. It is already apparent that he truly loves people (like his parents).

What is new with our little guy?
He loves to scoot on the floor...not crawl, but scoot.
"Duck" seems to be his favorite word. He also babbles on about "da da da da." (Adam likes that a lot!)
He still claps and waves at everyone.
Charlie loves food..especially bananas, pears, waffles, chicken, turkey, and of course, CHEERIOS! (Can you have too many cheerios at this time?)

As you can see above, he loves to think and ponder. He wants to know how things work and move. Often, I refer to him as Curious George...as he is always into everything!

Again, we are so blessed to have him in our family. May God continue to be our guide as parents. Thanks be to Him who has given us this incredible gift!
