We are officially attempting our first garden. Here you can see Adam tilling up the soil. Go, Adam, go!
Whew! The first of the work is done. Our back yard has been a jungle. Around Christmas, the men of the family cut down trees and hauled them off to the trash. Adam and Stan tilled up the land for our first official garden.
Here we have Stan hoeing the land. He looks like a natural, doesn't he? Gardener KK and I bought a few plants that we'll show in a later post. Hopefully, by the end of the summer, we'll have a few of these: tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers (3 varieties) and corn (silver queen). It's definitely a work in progress, but we are excited about trying this new venture.
