Charlie went to the doctor for the first time today. He had only lost a few ounces, so that means that this boy is eating well. He did not like for his heel to be pricked, but as we both know from our childhoods...his mama and his daddy do not like shots either. At least he didn't kick the nurse!
We could not have done all that we are doing without the help of my mom, Lenn. She is quite a servant, and she loves to take Charlie out to sun on the porch. Thank you to KK for helping us settle in that first day as well. We are still munching on the lemon cake! Thanks to people for bringing us meals and other treats. Adam and I are overwhelmed by God's goodness and your genorosity. Not a moment goes by when we do not thank Him for Charlie, our family and our friends.
We'll write more later. Mama is going to get a little sleep while he is sleeping away in his car seat (thanks, April and Dean for that great gift).

Congratulations! Charlie is beautiful. I hope you are getting some rest and are enjoying this special time as a family. We can't wait to introduce Cady to Charlie!
We want to come by with a meal also in the next couple weeks. I sent Adam an e-mail about it. We can't wait to meet Charlie and see you again. Sorry you couldn't make it to JM's wedding this past weekend.
